    Panzer paint job ideas?

I will be getting 2 panzers 1/18 in the mail soon and im not sure how to paint them...

One is a AUSF D and the other is a AUSF J.
I know how im going to paint the D not the J.... I would like to do something Normandy that looks cool not your every day plain camo... I can do Zimmerit if need so.
It has the turret armor no side skirts..

    Thanks Alex

If your plans are for a Normandy "J" you will have to do zimmerit as all the early "J" models had it. Also needs to be the early "J" with 4 return rollers and the more familiar canister style exhaust and not the two vertical exhausts. Good luck with your project and hope you will show some pics.

I see...I was going to ask if the J (No side skirts on it just the turret skirt) Would have had zimmerit. And here is whatr I will be getting in the mail.

The D has ugly latex paint that needs to be removed (Easy )
I am going to repaint them both, add zimmerit to the J and refine the details some.

I got them dirt cheap so im happy! Like $60 shipped to my house AND my mom paid for them! Early Bday gift!

That is the right "J" for Normandy. What kind of refinements were you thinking of doing? Right off I can see the exhaust needs to be turned.

How so.... It seams to be ok? Maybe turned down a bit but thats it?

                      Edit...

And just some refining to the detail's... It was one of 21s century toys old 1/18 tank's..
When I get them I will take some pics all around and get your opinion on what needs to be done

Btw? Are you sure the exhaust is wrong???
I mean if it is not I can correct about anything on the model...

You are right. It is just turned down a bit. I forgot all about 21st Century Toys, is this one of the motorzed ones?

The J has a die cast hull with RC turret.. and the D has the RC removed.. but if I want a good rc I will get a HengLong Panther..
