    enquiry re 1/6 loose weapons

    Hi

I am a firearm collector - specialising in WWi/WWii axis short firearms.

Of late, I have 'discovered' the 1/6 scale world. I have decided to start a collection of loose weapons - again WWi/WWii - this time short and long firearms.

While I have managed to acquire the more commonly-available pieces with ease, through specialised sites and eBay, I am finding difficulties sourcing some particular models.

For example, I know that complete rigs for the Luger P08 artillery (complete with stock and snail drum) and for the Mauser C712 Schnellfeuer (with 20-cartridge and stock, plus cleaning tool) are available with figures, but I cannot source as loose parts. I wonder if you could advise me of some site I may order these from?

Also, I am interested in acquiring models such as the Radom Vis 35, CZ 24/27, etc. I dont know whether these have been produced at all?

    Regards

    Mantoine

You can try this site, they sell most of the 1/6 figures and their accesories as lose pieces, the offer a wide variety of brands in the world of 1/6 scale figure and weapons.

    http://www.monkeydepot.com/

Do a search in google for 1/6 scale forums, they also have a "market place" where you can buy some times custom stuff from very talented 1/6 modelers.

The "sixth army group forum"(google it for the correct www) have a nice selection of 1/6 vendors as sponsors and members.

I found the address for the above forum.....http://www.sixtharmygroup.com/portal/index.php

    Hope it helps.

In 1:6th, if ou can think of it, somebody will make it. Unfortunatley I highly doub the Radom was made. Not sure about the CZ though...echobasetoys.com tends to have a wide assortment of loose parts.

The British forum (onesixthcollectors.co.uk/forum) has a few members but you can find some obscure pieces there.

On my forum (ww2smallscale.freeforums.org) we have a bad habit of pulling out random items....we have members we're not even sure how they get ahold of their pieces.
