    Liebermuster question

Good Day fellow collectors and model builders, I've got a quick question for anyone here. I'm finally putting together a 1/6th SS Mann wearing the Liebermuster uniform and i was just wondering IF they would have worn any insignia or and awards on it. I know it's a camoflage uniform and per regs they wouldn't have but out of norms some camo had tabs, boards, and eagles on them..

    Thanks

    Joe

I would say that at the end of the war anythig is possible, yet I would expect the liber to be free of insignia.

Yet an anecdote of spanish ss volunteers in Berlin, I mean anecdote as its not documented nor backed up by photos, states that some of these men has liber and dot camo and they applied all kinds of spnish emblems to it

I think the Liebermuster pattern came out so late, the Soldat would not have had the time to customize it. Here is a pic of the pattern in wear. I can't see any insignia on it.

Taking this photo as a reference, I think the better option could be to add an SS M43 cap with late eagle/skull patch in the front, enough to identify the subject as member of the SS.

As I stated...This pic was to show the pattern in wear.

It was posted knowing they were Heer troops, the branch of service was inconsequential.

As there are so few pictures of the Liebermuster pattern in use, this one was presented because it illustrates the lack of insignia applied.
