    Grüß Gott Mark,

      Thanks for everyone's comments -
I agree - the mapcase requires alteration, I'm just not at that stage yet
Patrick - GREAT conversions! I treat all models as starting points, and Dragon's plus Tamiya's range are good base's for alterations. I'd like to see some other works of yours?
Here are two more in progress models. The first will be a Luftwaffe Jager in a greatcoat during a winter retreat, and the second a Heer sniper is a smock, talking to a Panzer commander in his tank (May be part of a 1/16 Tiger diorama).
      Mark.

Please remember, these are basically rough's with a lot of work to carry out yet. I'm still playing with ideas.

                  Servus Mark,

Great LW Jäger and pup! What a nice touch.

Thanks for your compliment. Unfortunately, I haven't spent much time modeling in the past few years. Here are a few of my completed works:

World War I Italian Alpino (90mm - added Goatee, Alpenstock, carved rock base)

Hauptmann Groth, Mt. Elbrus, 1942 (120mm - Resculpted Winter Jacket into an anorak, sculpted left arm and hand, made ice axe, sculpted mountain rucksack, carved rock/snow base)

General Dietl, Hero of Narvik (120mm - Resculpted Keilhose into breeches with puttees, carved pillar):

                  I do some woodcarving also:

                  Fröhliche Kriegsweihnachten!

                    Cheers Greg

                      Hi Greg,
                      Yeah, it's an illness...
I can't find much time to get cracking to complete many, though. Maybe over Christmas!?
                      Cheers,
                      Mark.

AMAZING WORK! Mark and Patrick, the conversions work is magnificent, Mark, I undestand the adiction to modeling I have about 16 diferent projects, NONE finish. My current "day" work have made my modeling work very limited.

Again thanks for sharing these great projects!

                        Fred

                            Wow -
Someone still reading this old thread?!
Thanks for the kind words - I wish I had more time for modelling but my attention is elsewhere right now
(No - not working on this 1:16 scale Tiger - but wanted to add some sort of image related to my models!)
                            Thanks Again,
                            Mark
