    David Wheatley

    Name of WAF collector, membership level and known as on the WAF: Association member David Wheatley recently passed away in July 2017 from cancer. David joined the forum on 02 July 2003.

    So sad to learn of this. I met him through the forum and we met up several times at the various SoS in Louisville. He was a well spoken, educated collector. I believe his family owned a winery, as he would frequently gift me a bottle or two.

        David and I joined the forum only a couple days apart and while we had different
        collecting interests, we did trade PMs back in the early days.

        Rest in Peace, David.
