I considered Michał a good friend and we emailed each other often. Our collecting interests were virtually identical, and over the years our conversations moved beyond collecting to life in general: family, work, etc.

His expertise will be missed on the forum and I'll miss his emails.

I always hoped to meet Michał but that is not to be.

I know that his family wants to work out some important things regarding his passing before sharing more details with his friends here, so I suggest we respect that; I'm sure everything will become clearer in time.

          RIP Michał.
          Best regards,
          Streptile

This was very sad news to hear. Michal was a great guy and a friend to many collectors here. He was always friendly to deal with and knew a lot about EKs. He will be missed and my thoughts are with those he left behind.

I am shocked, devastated by this news.

I considerd Michal a good friend, we emailed each other regularly.

He had a young daughter, wife/partner.

He helped me with tracing my family tree in Poland.

He was ill a while back, something with his stomach.

He was on holiday at the sea side a few weeks ago, enjoying a family break.

                        I just can't believe it.

I was arranfing to see him in Poznan, we joked about meeting up at the Hard Rock Cafe there for a few beers.

                        Terrible Terrible news.
