Friedberg-Ray Brks Flak Tower

Hi Folks:

When I worked in the Giessen Military Community from 1980-84, I supported the US Army units at Friedberg. Ray Barracks was a US Army base in Friedberg where Elvis Presley was stationed in the 1950s...and the Dining Facility was named "Elvis Presley Dining Facility". I recently drove up there and saw this large Flak Tower which sits right outside Ray Brks which is now "closed". I forgot all about this Flak Tower. I'm guessing that due to it's location...it provided flak support protecting Frankfurt am Main.

Perhaps make sure the photos are correct on your hard drive first? Also, I always preview my post before hitting the Submit Reply button, then if there are any problems, then I can fix them.
