November 9 is a notable day in world history. It was on this day in 1918 that Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated. It was on this day that the infamous Beer Hall Putsch occurred and in 1938 Kristallnacht.


It was on this day 30 years ago that the Berlin Wall was opened. Here are five facts about the history and fall of the wall:
