We live right across the street from the Frankfurt city cemetery and found many grave markers for Polish POWs or DPs along with many from the Allied bombing raids in WWII (i.e. 24 Mar 1944, etc..) many many many were "Unknown" or "UNBEKANNT"
Also found WWI German grave markers. One grave marker was for a father who was killed during a Allied Bombing raid (5 Nov 1944) and son died in Russia 27 Aug 1942.
In addition to a memorial to all the war Dead 1914-1918 and 1939-1945
