elsenau tunics

    elsenau tunics

    i cant seem to find much on elsenau tunics. I have heard they are good but tjats about it. does anybody have experience with them? what makes them good or bad?

    Elsenau used only German made 100% wool fabric, , by a mill that made it during the War. It looks and feels like the real, also it matched colour and thicknes with original tunics. It's absolutely the best thing on the uniform market.
    Same with Italian made rayon lining, custom dyed thread, buttons painted with correct shades of feldgrau and blaugrau... etc.

    Patterns was copied from disassembled original tunics and German documents.


    All small details are present like: bias tapes, and reinforcements fabrics between wool and lining in place of eyeletholes, buttonhole panel

    Buttonholes – thats the weakest point of all reproduction tunics. Elsenau makes correct buttonholes - cut before, then embroidered it.

      Elsenau is on facebook.
      They are very pricey and a long wait.
      If you want very nice ( not the best) but very nice reproduction tunics, you should visit schusters.ru , pantherstore or nestof.pl

          the photos of the ski cap and tunic they sent me looked great but the cap and tunic i got were crap i have seen better chinese copies on ebay

                funny a long line of happy buyers he has ,even very happy buyers but "jedem das seine" ,if you dont like quality buy next time from china the are top repros for your garden p.s learn the names ,there was nothing like ski cap in german army in ww2 .
