What other films/documentaries has your unit been involved in?

Hmmm...well I recall this one from The History Channel: 10 Days To D-Day. It had a creative way of reinacting days leading up to D-day through letters of the subjects. But D-Day to Berlin looks to be a multi part BBC program that I don't recall seeing??

Maybe I've seen too many of these and they are starting to run together.

Hi Guys, the series is told using Veterans stories with a few re-enacted scenes. This one is done in three parts. I think the Red Army will be in the final episode?

Our unit has been involved in several different programmes over the years, you might recall seeing a documentary on the T34? That was us, but I was not in it.

Shinerb, I know what you mean

            Cheers, Ade.

Ade, are you playing a landing craft or a bunker?

Hi Guys, the scenes we shot were all of the meet up with US troops on the Elbe river. There was no "combat" style footage done at all. No bunkers or landing craft Ben

                    Cheers, Ade.

Watched it tonight. Thought the reenacting was good. The only thing that I didn't like was Monty! Overall, very enjoyable and I can't wait for the next episode!

Hi Jack, I was only just saying the same thing The actor playing Monty could not get the voice right at all; also the scarf should have been a peice of camo US Parachute silk.

                          Overall I enjoyed it.

                          Cheers, Ade.

Overall it was pretty good I thought. Would have been nice to hear a bit more from the vets though, especially the ones from Panzer Lehr.
