I just heard the news that Paul Allen passed away today, my condolences to him and his family, may he Rest In Peace.


I do hope his superb aviation and armour collection in Seattle lives on as a legacy to his passion to collect and preserve the history of the past and all of the services that he so proudly exhibited in his museum.

I do agree, his private aviation collection at Paine Field in Everett, WA was world class and I can only hope it remains as a museum in the future

Didn't he own that Focke Wulf found in a Russian wooded clearing & had it renovated back to flying condition.

Yes he did.... here it is at a recent open day in Seattle... (July 2018).

I had never seen it since, looks fantastic but preferred the time capsule originally found, least its preserved for future generations.
