Not the right place to show this helmet, mate, you're gonna get trashed...

Anyway, it's your lid. If you like it, good for you.

                        Cheers

Zimmerit was a paste-like coating used to produce a hard layer covering the metal armor of a vehicle, providing enough separation that magnetically attached anti-tank mines would fail to stick to the vehicle.
Have you tried to attach a magnetical anti-tank mine to your helmet? And don't you think that there is a little disproportion between a magnetic mine and a helmet?

I can look at this two ways. If I put my "who's he hurting" glasses on I suppose that if the OP is just playing around with a beat up rusty ground dug shell...really no harm, no foul. Nobody will ever think this is a real zimmerit. There's no ill intent. Not my thing....but to each his own.

If I put my "WTF?" glasses on...yeah O.K., where do I begin? Did you use actual barium sulfate to make your zimmerit? Did you use a torch to bake it on? And I guess most importantly there is no such creature as zimmerit camo on helmets.
