    Hitler's Teeth Examined Again

Hitler teeth test dispels myths of Nazi leader's survival

    http://www.dw.com/en/hitler-teeth-test-dispels-myths-of-nazi-leaders-survival/a-43861719

Nothing new here, really, just another recent study thatconcluded that the dental remains kept in Moscow really did belong to AdolfHitler, indicating that he died in Berlin in 1945 and was cremated. Maybe Ishould have posted this under the “Hunting Hitler” thread!

The article says that this was the first time that theRussians allowed anyone to examine these remains in over 70 years, which is nottrue at all. There was an earlier in-depth examination and study done by aSwiss team, the results of which were reported in 2011, and an even earlierNational Geographic study in 2003. In any case, these studies all show that ifHitler escaped to Argentina or someplace else in 1945, he did so without histeeth and jaws! (typed with sarcasm on)

Yes, I agree with this. In conversations I had many years ago with Artur Axmann, Otto Gunsche, and Rochus Misch I have had no doubt that Hitler did in fact meet his end in his Berlin bunker in 1945. Tom

You would think they would have made a better job of burning his body,
not just throw him in a shell hole and pour some petrol over him.

Not a lot of planning involved.

The area outside the bunker was being shelled and the Russians closing in....Petrol was becoming scarce and something they had to scrounge, in order to follow Hitler's orders...Considering the circumstances, I'd say they did a miraculous job.....Bodes

Hmmmm…..one would think that if Hitler had a body double he would have had his teeth worked on to match his own dental records.

Am I under the correct impression that AH's dental records were recreated after the war from memory? I seem to remember reading something to that effect.

They also found from his dental records that he "bit of more than he could chew."

No. In fact the records of his dentist, Dr. Blashke (sic) were recovered with the taking of Berlin.

There are also skull/dental x-rays captured at some point by the Allies (these are now in the US National Archives).

I believe dental assistant Kaethe Heusermann did draw AH's dental topography from memory, for the Soviets.

Perhaps that's what I remember reading.
