Thanks guys, yes it was a great cruise, although we managed to catch the tail end of the 'Beast from the East' as the weather was a bit cold, snow and rain for most of the trip, but I had a great time.

I would have loved to have looked in the museum N.C., but sadly the boat didn't stop at Remagen, we pulled up at Cologne, a bit further down the Rhine. (yep, visited the Cathedral). Thanks for adding those great shots too.....

You know . . . I had heard the Museum still sold pieces of the piers that were left after the bridge was destroyed. I thought it would have been a great "trinket" for my buddy, GW - as he collects those kind of things. When I asked the Lady at the entry about this, she laughed and said they haven't been sold since the 80's. Guess I was just a little too late. :-)

Perhaps veering from topic . . . but when at the Dom, did you see the gift left behind by von Dassel? And afterward, did you get to try the local Kaviar? :-) [Sorry - no "smilies" available yet!]
