Trying to locate this former HJ.

Hello to this forum,

A friend of mine had a father that fought in WWII and was stationed in Germany for a couple years following. He played baseball, and made friends, with a 15 year old boy who had been a member of the HJ. My friend wants to discover if this boy, now about 74 years old, is still living. He has a photo of the boy and the boy signed the back. We cannot make out the signature, nor would we have any idea how to find the man. Is it possible that one of you might help. Thanks,

Looks like he wrote "George Littlesmith", an Anglicized version of Georg Kleinschmidt maybe?

I agree with gene about the name.

On the back of the photo is a stamp which locates

Bad Blankenburg in Thüringen.

The City-Hall of Bad Blankenburg should have a birth register
where George could be found, if he was born there.
