Mysterious fossil footprints may cast doubt on human evolution timeline

Mysterious fossil footprints may cast doubt on human evolution timeline.

This is a very interesting discovery.

"We share plenty of features with apes, but the shape of our feet isn't one of them. So that makes the discovery of human-like footprints dating back 5.7 million years – a time when our ancestors were thought to still be getting around on ape-like feet – a surprising one. Further confounding the mystery is the fact that these prints were found in the Greek islands, implying hominins left Africa much earlier than our current narrative suggests."

Perhaps they were doing the tzatziki shuffle?

And near the end of this article there is a link to this related story: Did human ancestors split from chimps in Europe, not Africa? http://newatlas.com/fossil-human-chi...-europe/49708/

From the above linked article, "The Secret History of the World And How to Get Out Alive, The sudden appearance of Cro-magnon"

"They were the first to leave extensive works of art, such as cave paintings and carved figures of animals and pregnant women."

There is much evidence to the contrary.

      http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...-science-pike/

      http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-28967746

Although, the neanderthal and the cro magnon are thought to be contemporary. So who was the original plagurist?

And this one is totally unfounded: "We ought to note that the Neanderthals did not have art. What’s more, there was essentially no change in their stone tools for 100,000 years."

"The most amazing part of all of it is the art. Art suddenly springs onto the landscape, fully formed, with no period of gradual development; no signs of childish attempts preceding it. A piece of ivory carved 32,000 years ago is as realistic as anything turned out by the most accomplished carver of the present day."

They really didn't do their homework.

Now I started to get suspicious about the authors of this article and I went to their main page and had a look at the indexes and found this:

"The idea that humanity is not from Earth is as controversial as it is intriguing.
Are we really aliens on 'our' own planet?

If this is true where is our place of origin in the galaxy?
A scientific evaluation of the evidence against man's evolution on planet Earth has been put forward by a researcher and author.

According to Dr Ellis Silver, leading environmentalist and ecologist there are a number of reasons why humans do not come from Earth."

I will read it no further, but thanks for posting the link anyways, I needed a chuckle...

Interesting! However such a significant challenge to the conventional theories will require careful scrutiny to ensure that the interpretation of the data is correct. For the moment, the evidence hasn't been shared in full so there has yet to be independent verification. Hopefully this will stay visible while the inevitable debate unfolds.

        Thanks,
        Michael

All Europeans will have a small percentage of Neandethal within their DNA
Europeans do not have any African Haplogroups, nor do the Mongoloids / Asians.
Homoerectus (Negroid) differs to Homosapiens (Caucasian / Euroaisian Mongoloid)
There is no scientific evidence that Europeans have African DNA/ Origins

Mr. Davis: There are facts and then there's political correctness. Our responsibility as thinking human beings is to differentiate between the two! This will be my sole additional comment on this subject as I believe we're approaching a forbidden area of discussion on this forum.

I agree, and DNA testing is a most powerful investigative tool. From what I've read the new finds are pointing to a distinct 'european' origin of the European/Mediterranean peoples. Quite contrary to what I was taught in uni. But as new materials are unearthed the books have to be rewritten. The DNA testing folk at 23&me do a super job with DNA breakdown, not a lot of money and quite comprehensive. They even give show you just how much Neanderthal DNA you have inherited!

Here is something I was reading over the other day at:

              http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2...ientists-find/

" Europe was the birthplace of mankind, not Africa, scientists find "

" The discovery of the creature, named Graecopithecus freybergi, and nicknamed ‘El Graeco' by scientists, proves our ancestors were already starting to evolve in Europe 200,000 years before the earliest African hominid."

I've always been fascinated with the possibility of a connection with the 'european' peoples and the early cultures of the Indian sub continent. There are even linguistic similarities.

              Food for thought...
