The Pyramid has 8 sides? That's a new one on me.

Oh yes, most certainly, for you see their roots are pyramidal in form as well. I thought everyone knew that. Plant one in your garden next spring and pull it in the fall...the truth is out there!

          .

Only 1 day of the year, and for a very short window in time on that day, and still containing the same math "golden proportion" in the 8 sides....

Actually a pyramid has 5 sides, the 4 outside faces and the bottom face, unless the pyramid is a hollow form and then it would possess 8 surfaces. But seroiusly, Pete is correct, see this page: http://www.catchpenny.org/concave.html and here as well, https://curiosity.com/topics/the-eig...iza-curiosity/ The video that follows the text in the last link is a bit off the wall though *cough*.

It reminds me of those folded fortune telling devices we made as children. See an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpsmrQdN0Do

Perhaps if one asks politely of the pyramids, they will in turn open up and give your fortune!

            Thanks Pete!

Just watched a documentary looking at recent discoveries that cast light on the transportation of the limestone outer cladding of Khufu's pyramid (Channel 4, UK). The concave structure of each side was very visible in the aerial shots, once I knew to look for it!

Massive Void in the Great Pyramid of Giza

Just noticed this on the web...

"How Researchers Uncovered a Massive Void in the Great Pyramid of Giza
The cavity could hold clues to how the pyramids came to be."

Interesting project. I wonder if, when and how they will test these findings. A lot of negotiation would be involved, but these explorations seem to have been moving more quickly recently. However I am used to waiting decades for updates on pyramid-related theories!

                    .

It is all very interesting...the people i know involved are always telling me to pay attention to the math of the pyramids, and how its linked to the stars, and that these also act as a "clock"...although through the millenniums...

The best part is that the group of top people in the world who authenticate and give the nod to historical artifacts to the public also fund the explorations or make it possible- and more than once because something foudn has interfered with a religious story, its been passed off as fake no matter how much the find and the process of the find was described. Some archaeology going on is also conducted with a surface story about why its important although the dig is really about undermining the history of another country thats politically important in the current day between two opposing countries...for $$$.....so wouldnt (and isnt) knowledge be the same ?.....

That is so true, get between someone and their religion and they will more than likely kill you, the same as getting in the way of a drug addict and their fix.

its all well and clear linked to the stars, you only have to turn the star position back in the time frame the Pyramid where getting roughly build up.
Even the milky way makes its sense to the star heaven.

Hidden Secrets of the Great Pyramid.

A hidden void has been uncovered under the Great Pyramid in Giza. Using a new technique using muons which are a by-product of cosmic rays from the Universe. Explorers have visualized what they think could be a large void at least 30 metres long above the Great Gallery in the 4500 year old Pharaoh Khufu’s Pyramid.
