First i would like to introduce you to our Filmproject... we are a group of Reenactors and non-professional Actors who are working with a professional Camera man and Director Heintje Peter! Our claim is to show german history from another point of view as Hollywood or German TV Productions do! The first part of the project, made from 2014 to 2016 based on the true story of Hellmut Böttger (born 1923), a Wehrmacht Soldier on the Eastern Front, the film depicts a simple soldier's experiences during the last year of World War II. It closely follows Hellmut and his friend Heinrich on their way from Obol in June 1944 into US-captivity and the "Rheinwiesen camps". It tells of battles and beliefs but also of comradeship, friendship and respect.

Now we are working on Part II, https://www.facebook.com/warmovie2/?ref=br_rs
It is about the last days of the Reich, the "Schlacht um die Seelower Höhen", especially the Area around Klessin in March 1945.
We had a few Film shootings in April and May this year in Germany, Poland, Italy and Denmark, the next shooting weekends are in September, October, November, in a small town between Berlin and Magdeburg! Our Film crew hired an old Farm with nearly 11.000 m² area around it.
And here is the second reason why i post this... we are looking for reenactors or rennactment groups who would have fun to be part of our Film! No matter where are you from, it would be nice to see you at our location and work with us! (And party, for sure!). Our shooting meetings are always at weekends, as we are all non-professionals and have Jobs! ;-) Mostly from Friday to Sunday, exept some public holidays we have in Germany End of September and in October.
The weekends are always like reenactment meetings, we have enough area for Tents, field camp or caravan/ camper! A field kitchen will be there, and a small "front bar" for fresh beer and drinks. The next supermarket is 10 minutes away...
End of September and in October we are planing to shoot some scenes from the wave of refugee in 1945, together with the retreat of the Wehrmacht and the last battles with the Red Army.
We are looking for reenactors who do Wehrmacht or Red Army, and we need a lot of civilians! Also every kind of vehicles, from the Truppenrad (bike) to Cars and Trucks to Tanks! ;-)
So, we welcome all European (or world wide) reenactors to our Film team and hope to see you in Sachsen-Anhalt for a weekend! (or 2... or 3).
If you are interested, or want some more Information, please write here, send me a pm, or contact me on facebook via our Group...
