    Thank you Larry for the posting .. It is very interesting
    & quite believable about the 'butchery' that went on in
    the early years of dentistry & medical practices.

          I have heard of 'Waterloo Teeth' before, and they actually have some examples at the Royal Army Medical Corps Museum at Keogh Barracks at Ash Vale which I remember seeing.

              You should have a look at the hardback book "Waterloo in 100 objects" by Gareth Glover. Some fascinating items in there. I'm pretty sure the teeth feature in it too. (One great item in it also is the carabinier's back and breastplate pierced through by a small cannon ball. I saw it in Leeds Armoury when it was on loan to there from France a couple of years ago, fascinating!)
