It was only a few days before my Step Father died Aug. 4th from Liver Cancer
I learned what unit he was in during the war. He told me years ago he was something called Field Force but searching it never came up anything till I added the 1st. He was there from 67 to 68 then did a second tour with an officer documenting military history.
I found the patches in his room as we were looking for important papers to wrap up his affairs, or scrambling to.
His brother took most of his military stuff so I just ordered the patch from Ebay to wear it in his honor. I am going to miss him, he was an irreplaceable loss to the family.
