Today 72 years ago at 5:00 PM (European time) it was begin Warsaw Uprising

CZESC I CHWALA BOHATEROM - HONOR AND GLORY TO THE HEROES.

Glory to the Heroes. My Grandfather and Grandmother from father's side fought and died in Uprising. My father survived being 4 years old.

Their fate was unknown to my family for many years. My aunt who also fought and survived, tried very hard to find it out after the war. My father later as well. Last time she saw my grandfather in September 1944, few days before he disappeared. Thanks to member Lostwith on this forum, his help and knowledge, I now know where and when my grandfather fell. Grandmother's fate is still a mystery.
