Brezany has been for sale for a while. Well so I'm told. So this isn't anything new to me.

As for the migrants/ Nazi criminal comment that was rough.

If all the houses in which a nazi has been living for a couple of years during the 40's were supposed to be bulldozered there won't be much decent houses left in France...

Seriously though, perhaps Angela Markel should re-invent it as a refuge for economic migrants from North Africa and have an opening ceremony, possibly a sort of immigration centre, the migrants arrive, hand over their possessions, valueable's and such like and whoo hoo, they are German citizens ! What better ??

Just my opinion but it is a ugly house. It looks more like an old office building
or school then it does a home.

I have to agree. Perhaps that was the way things were done back then? It's an awfully big place for a home - but seems to me, many estate homes of that era exhibit similar appearances.

To put it in perspective, here are a few select images of the place - from a time before it was commandeered.

Thanks for the additional pictures. I am sure that at the tiime it was built
and where it was built, it was probably considered quite stylish -- in a depressed,
                authoritarian kind of way.

Can you read a map? Prague isn't actually in Germany.

Yes I see your point, but the point I was making is that if she not made those infamous comments last year, then Europe would not have been deluged with migrants, look at the mess its in now, fences going up on borders and such like.

I am not English. But it’s all totally disgusting and I am not defending them at all. Just been reading online that the French are pretty certain there were 150 committed Russians who were mainly responsible for the trouble. All the **** going on in the world and we have these morons doing this

It is a shame how many discussions about historical items and topics gets screwed up here on WAF because of some members always throwing in their political opinions....
Why not keep you political comments for "Die Kneipe" or in your local pub ?

I thought it was an interesting thread, is the house still for sale, priced at e700K

a lot for your money, but would need more to put it straight, would someone dare buy it with its former history.
