Friends,
During a recent visit to see the 1940 Meuse crossings, Wadelincourt was one of the places I stopped at as I wanted to see if anything remained of the bunkers taken by Walter Rubarth and his group of engineers .
I found one bunker, 220 easily enough (picture attached, I understand this bunker was not taken by Rubarth's group) but couldn't find any others mainly because of the railway line that runs very close to where I think the other bunkers were originally built.
Does anyone know this area well? Are there other bunkers close to bunker 220?
Thanks in advance.
