    Best US Rough-Out Boots?

Can anyone advise me on where to buy a quality pair of WWII US Rough-Out Boots?

Last year, I bought a pair from Epic Militaria, which I assume are the same as the SOF ones, but they didn't even last a week before one of the soles totally came away. I fixed this with Gorilla Glue and a year later it is still holding up well, but a few months ago the same thing happened to the other sole, which I was able to fix again, but hey...waddyawant for 45 Quid?
I'm not a re-enactor, so I'm not gonna get all anal about how 'many stitches per inch' or the lack of internal contract stamps, but another reason I want to upgrade is that the incredibly soft leather on the uppers makes motorcycle gear changes quite difficult.
...So, are they all like this, or are there higher quality ones out there?
    I appreciate any advice.
