Weinfuhrer of Bordeaux

I've just joined WAF as i'm researching the history of Weinfuhrers of France during WW2. I am preparing a presentation and i'd appreciate any information on Heinz Boermans who was the Weinfuhrer of Bordeaux.

i am in the wine trade myself and have some knowledge of the French efforts to conceal wine from the Nazi's and all of the stories associated with Fine wine during the occupation are fascinating such as the switching of labels from great vintage wines onto poor quality bottles of plonk that wouldn't sell!! The Nazis often were fooled into believing the wine merchants. The Weinfuhrers were often in on the scams!

Any contributions to help my research would be gratefully accepted
