    Hi,

all the articles published on the subject prove that the writers just don't know ANYTHING about midget submarines.

Midget submarines from Japan, United Kingdom and Germany all needed to be towed or put on other "normal" submarines to travel, and even during short travels many were lost. Midget submarines cannot travel on "long" periods (a few dozen of km of range at best), nor can they travel in oceanic waters.

Many books exist on the story of all the types of available midget submarines during WWII, and the % of loss at sea is very high, and no one could use them to "escape".

Also 99,9 % of the nazis and european collaborators who escaped to South America just took like everyone... boat and plane.

But back to the midget submarine found : it is not a german model, more like a japanese one imo.

    Another article here :

It could be great if the authorities are able to extract it from the sand.

    See You

WW2 U-Boat Found In Argentina Proves Top Nazi’s Escaped Germany

Really? I bet no one knew Nazi's escaped to SA. Who wrote this? The same people that are producing "Hunting Hitler"?

The range was less than 500 Kilometers for the Seehund type subs. This sub looks different than the Seehund design.
