    Buying a Michael Janke SS Tunic possible?

    Hi guys I've heard about Michael Janke repo stuff being the best
    I'm looking to buy a Panzer Wrap based on Wittmann.
    Is it still possible to buy these?
    Can you buy direct from him?

    These a site that says they get there items direct from him called

    Extraklasse has Janke tunics and you could contact him, he is a dealer I can recommend.

    You can also buy tunics made by Janke from Bill Burea.

      yeah a few people have recommended him, are they really good?
      is the material like the real thing?

      why is it not possible to buy from janke any more?

        I have owned a M43 (SS) tunic, a pair of M43 trousers, a dot tunic and a pair of dot trousers made by Janke and I still own a M40 (SS) tunic from him. I bought everything for a couple of years ago and I was very pleased with it then. There where some smaller inaccuracies on his regular tunics but the quality was outstanding. I have heard that his panzer wraps should be the best.

        Janke is not easy to deal with, that is all I can say. But the dealers who sells his tsuff are good.

                    Janke is good, but there are others that are better. Janke had a problem, or at least used to, with their "suit coat" shoulder and armhole design.
                    Some Ed's old Lost Battalions work, ATF Texled (espensive), On the March and even some of Pirschens work was better.
                    I think only On the March is still making them, but again they are expensive.

                      GROUND RULES FOR PLACING AN ORDER

                      Rule #1: No complaints on how long your stuff is taking. I sew part-time, not full-time, as my schedule allows. Please plan ahead! Allow a lead time of at least 8 to 12 months. It's often a bit longer, but quality takes time :-)

                      Rule #2: Price: It costs what it costs. OTM is a business, not a charity.

                      Rule #3: Please, no whining or getting irate if you don't get your own way. I'm a detail nut and will follow my authentic examples, not the prevailing junk that has flooded the market in the last few years.

                      I've examined dozens, and have lived, worked, breathed, ate, slept, and virtually mind-melded with German uniforms for the last 12 years. It's a safe bet that I know what I'm doing.

                      Rule #4: Get accurate measurements. This cannot be stressed enough. Either accept the risk by having your girlfriend take your measurements or GO TO A TAILOR. It's worth the extra $35.

                      Rule #5: All orders will be 100% prepaid before any work begins. No exceptions--ever! Just to clarify, an order is not an order until it is paid. Until then, it's only a quote.

                      Rule #6: Cancellation Policy. I've never had a cancellation policy before, but one is really needed. Here it is:

                      --If no work has been started, the deposit is returned less any Paypal or other fees I've incurred in accepting the deposit, and a $25 admin fee.

                      --If patterning work has been started, the labor costs will be deducted from the deposit at a rate of $25/hr, and a $25 admin fee.

                      --If the fabric is already cut, the patterning and cutting labor costs ($25/hr), the material costs, and a $25 admin fee will be deducted from the deposit.

                      Summary
                      Now, all this being said--and yes, my attitude has really soured over the last couple of years because of all the cheapskates who want a Ferrari for the price of an used Escort--if you are still willing to support an American business, I'll be happy to help you get your quality German uniform.

                          I meet this guy at a show and I must say jmo he is a AH.I tried talking with this thing but he is just too much for me.I would not spend a dime with him.
