    Ground dug pics

    Hi!
    Found a link to this site on another forum, just thought you might would be intressted in seeing the things.
    How about digging out a german bunker or finding a Kw1?

          I remember reading about the low river levels over there.. lowest since the war. They discribed a Kubelwaggen (sp?) that was discovered as the water levels got low. Vehicle ID and unit markings were still readable!! The article said Lots of interesting things are starting to stick through the surface of the water.

                That is an Excellent site you posted!
                I don't know what it is about ground dug items that makes me like them. I guess that "I was there and no one has seen me since then" look is cool to me.

                          My last trip was 31.12.04, we fount in one german bunker 3 very good ss helmets and some other items.

                            I would love to go on digs like those as well. There is something about relics that I like especially if you pull them from the ground yourself.

                              Nice to see you on the forums here. I'm not sure if you remember me or not, as it has been awhile.

                              I know a few diggers, like yourself, which are very respectful when it comes to finding remains of soldiers, which is why I don't mind buying dogtags off you from time to time. There are, however, many diggers who aren't like you - most of which make everyone look bad.

                              Nice to see your site back up. To post pictures you have to become an association member or link to the pictures using html ([img src="URL"] [/img]).
