                  Hi,

                  I see this man as a very sad person trying to identify with the camaraderie of serving in the military.
                  I collect militaria, but have never "served" in my countries armed forces.
                  I am probably the most unmilitary person anyone can imagine - I could not take a bunch of NCO's screaming and shouting at me; or blindly obeying orders from anyone.
                  I would just walk away and leave.
                  Military life for me would be a nightmare; I think for myself, and would not obey orders from anyone - no matter who they were.
                  I believe this is why so many soldiers have problems after service, they leave the forces and have a free choice in their options; and do not know what to do - they have been told what to do for so many years and find it hard to think for themselves.
                  Perhaps I may be wrong, but I have seen this several times in people who have recently left military service.
