            Hi,

My parents listened to the actual broadcast, and realised that this was to change their lives forever.
What a waste of lives WW2 was - but a war that had to be fought, to destroy Nazi ideology and Japanese Imperialism.
Every single family in the UK was in some way changed by this broadcast; still gives people the chills after all this time.
Maybe, if the UK had not gone for a policy of "appeasement" this may never have happened.
Easy to theorise with hindsight, but who knows?
I do not know, that is for sure.
Thanks for posting, and; as usual -

            Best wishes,

            John.

With what the UK and many other states came up with against the Reich after WW1 pretty much helped to develope Nazi ideology within the Reich - no need to complain about that fact.
