My apologies, the stag belonged to H Goring and this is a snippet from my friend which I do t think he will mind

      Hermann Goring House - statue.
The bronze statue of a stag by Ferdinand Liebermann, sits in a small house close by the farmhouse that has “reportedly” the front door of Hermann Goring! This bronze used to sit in the driveway of Goring, in the circular “turnaround mini-roundabout area”. This is the story I have from my colleague who has lived in Berchtesgaden his entire life – he even remembers – in his words – “being breast fed at 4 years old by his mother whilst she chatted with Paula Hitler”. Look guys this is from him and having known him for many years I have no reason to doubt what he says is true – I am just relaying the story. Yet again after the Goring house was destroyed by the 1945 April bombings – the statue was looted and kept in Berchtesgaden for years. How it got here is unknown. It’s the best picture I could get as it was Sunday and the owners were at home. I am now seeking a picture or film of the bronze in the original position – Cheers Delboy!!!

Here is a period postcard showing that house of Göring - the stag was probably positioned more in front of it to greet the guests driving to it.

          Who is the mysterious owner?

It would be interesting to know who owns these statues , how they got them, and WHO they are or were related to?
