Now I know why CG was so touchy about me posting about the bogus poster he had in his recent auction.

Again Craig, I want to clarify that I wasn't just jumping on the bandwagon and being a 'bully' as you seem to label most that disagree with you. I was in fact highlighting the fact that a fake poster had been sold.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but I thought bringing bad items to the attention of the WAF was a good thing...

Here is a larger image of what Craig claimed was a 1991 article legitimizing both his passport and the patently bogus second passport (the one with no holes in the photo - see earlier posts):



The caption at bottom reads (loosely translated): "Copy of the criminal record of Marta Maria Will de Mengele, married to the Angel of Death. She had arrived in the country [Argentina] in 1956, some years after the death of her first husband Karl Mengele, Josef's younger brother"

And from Ha'aretz, the Israeli newspaper (and easily confirmed elsewhere):

"His wife, Irene, refused to join her husband in South America. In 1954, she divorced him; about half a year later, she remarried. Four years after his divorce, Mengele married Martha Maria Mengele, his younger brother Karl's widow". To fill the gaps, in October, 1956 Maria moved to Argentina. She and Josef married in Uruguay and she moved back to Germany with their son in 1960.

Craig maintains that the passports originate from Mengele's secretary, as so claimed by his seller. The article claims that they originate from Martha's criminal file. So which one is it?

I'm also disturbed by the fact that virtually every verifiable telltale in the newspaper/magazine photo is obscured. Besides the fact that the newspaper was provided with a copy of the documents, not originals. Not very professional - I have a copy of Jesus' birth certificate.

I have to believe that the article, unattributed to date, is a complete fabrication, perhaps "photoshopped" by the forger. Or, the entire story may have been a "plant" by the forger, who knows when, which the gullible paper fell for.

An unknown person, "Ricardo", sent me the same news magazine image after the "passport" story first broke, offering me the second, even more obviously bogus pssport. Craig told me it had been already sent to him, and "Ricardo" has now disappeared. Its current location is unknown. So is Ricardo's.

At 15:06 you'll see a legitimate Mengele signature.

At 15:39 you'll see a photo which was purported to be Mengele and used on his passport, then discounted by the film makers as not being him but rather his brother...and then described as bearing Mengele's signature. This authentication was done by a single autograph expert, as explained on the video. The photo is not Mengele's brother, and the signature is obviously not Mengele's hand...but it bears a very distinct resemblance to the signature on Craig's passport.

Could a forger have seen the same video, frozen the frame, and done a little artwork?

The circumstantial evidence is damning. If Craig cannot produce a solid explanation immediately for his gross negligence, his professional betrayal of his colleagues in the trade, his blanket insults to those on this forum, his Wikipedia vandalism, his throwing of consumers to the wolves to further his self-promotion, then he MUST GO! There are used car lots everywhere that need new salesmen.

So Craig has both bogus passports and in his infinite wisdom can't connect the dots in "Ricardo's" game? ..... real rocket science......
Of course ,if you wanted to cover up any tell tale track of a possible forgery...........you buy both items and keep your mouth shut about the second one. That sounds more like the Craig we all know.

If this Gregor was issued an International Red Cross Passport by the Swiss Consulate Genoa passed the physical for Argentina why would he need and Italian Passport?
He was thrown in jail because of a fake vaccination certificate 3 weeks all he needed was a visa allowing him to travel from Genoa to Argentina which he did July '49 ship North Star when the bogus official released him from Italian jail.
