Far more relevant to those with an interest in holocaust items than 'paper collectors' which covers a very broad range of interests and areas of expertise. What does knowing your way around an SB, WP or award document have to do with an apparent post-war Italian passport?

It comes down to money/greed. I also don't understand why this behavior is tolerated in the collecting community. I was banned here a couple of times for complaining of CG and yet he is given a free pass. It is not only tolerated on this formum but other forums as well and with other folks. Not to divert to another forum of person, but on German Daggers .Com (which CG originally started) one of their members (Houston Coates was caught red handed with some trickery on daggers and parts at the MAX and everyone complained and a few got banned but nothing ever came of it.
I have always said and still continue to believe, the good ole boy network lives!
I refer to this to show a connection within the network of decetion.

Appears to be smoking gun evidence in that case. Yet another troubling development. I was just advised that HC is responsible for security at either/both SOS and MAX. Can anyone verify this?

I must say that alexanderautogr and all others involved obtaining info have done some good old fashioned detective work, and all trough internet.
Perfect example on how important it is to always do your homework, especially before calling a news reporter.

I couldn't agree more, this hobby has become a web of fraud and deceit - threads like this one and the "LAH officers tunic at the Max" should become required reading for anyone thinking of investing anything in this hobby. Why would anyone profess to be an expert (or would anyone believe them) unless there was a monetary gain involved. Honestly I live by the motto "I'm still learning" because I don't believe any single person can gain all knowledge necessary to deam something 100% one way or the other in an unknown- there are those more knowledgeable that we seek advice from, but as shown in a thread such as this that group knowledge will focus towards the more correct answer.

It looks like this thread is beginning lose it's initial effectivness, typical M.O. for it's administration. I wish that I could tell you of an incident that transpired when this forum was in it's infantcy, that had taken place at my home with a visitation by the initial key owner; but alass, if I did I would only be banned. What I can say, is that so far most here have called the right shots.

I believe HC continues to serve as Chief of Security for the MAX Show as I know he has for MANY years. This is stated in the MAX Show program and includes his photograph as such. He is also an officer on the OVMS Board of Directors where he has had various managerial duties to include planning/supervising SOS activities, etc.

As a retired law enforcement executive I find his collecting community behavior abhorrent and an embarrassment to the profession.
