Hello Members,
Time for another battlefield tour. This time around its.. Hilter's Atlantik Wall, an interesting subject which has always fascinated me since I was young and watched the movie "Guns of Navarone"

My last visit to France I just didn't have the time to see enough on this subject, but this time around I was able to visit more locations as I had planned for a while and get a better understanding
and visual idea of the scale of the bunker's, gun emplacement , pill boxes and coastal artillery positions situated along the coast of France.

Keeping in mind you would probably need years to see the entire Atlantik Wall defences which was never totally completed and stretched for more than 3,000 miles (4828km) with around
15,000 bunkers all the way from Norway, along the Belgium and French coastline to the Spanish border...wow !

My trip this time around only covers the Pas de Calais and Normandie coastal section of France...so get ready to see plenty of concrete and rebar !!

Note: permission was granted to photograph some area's and location of bunkers which are on private land..a big thank you to land owners much appreciated.
