The house in not being demolished, it is standing in ruins, no one is around.

I would think perhaps an HQ or unit offices, given the size and the hauptfeldwebel cartoon.

Clearly the unit had a or several talented artists, you can find the same kind of thing in Norway too, I hope someone can see the historical and artistic value of these and take care of the building.

Very cool! The German artist liked the Flemish painter Pier Bruegel as his rendition is a close copy of an original from 1656 called "Farmer's wedding party"!

This building was probably used as a kitchen and mess hall +administration for coastal protection troops... Note cook! (and female helpers!)

The other painting I could not match but still close..."dancing with the bride"....
Same series no doubt (again around 1656)..no doubt another Bruegel copy!

He is a "der Spiess"! A company sergeant major or Senior sergeant...
the mother of the troops! Note cuff rings in illustration.

I believe it reads: "Guten Morgen Herr Hauptfeldwebel !"
You can still see some patterns and colors on the women's clothes (orange and light blue)
