Blimey!! Dangerous if rewarding work! The soil there must have a very low oxygen content, looks like it was buried yesterday. Reminds me of these peat bodies they dig up in Scandanavia that look like they are sleeping after a couple of thousand years in the bog.

Cold

Hi it looks like it has been in cold water,probably frozen for half the year.That explains the good condition.Just check out the thread on the JU-88 in Norway.
