Who has best SS and Panzer repro uniforms

I wanted to ask for opinions on the best quality SS camo and Panzer uniforms for repros. ATF seems really good quality but there may others out there as good or better. Oriignals are way too expensive and I wanted to display as close as possible. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Mike.

        Hi 1Corps,
I think it's generally agreed that SMW do the best SS cammo (1944 Militaria stock their stuff) - they have an E-Bay shop:-

        http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SMWHOLESALE-STORE?_rdc=1

GD43 are good for caps:- http://www.gd43.com/

If you need helmets Jacob Caputo is great:-

For uniforms the German company Janke are good, you can't buy direct ( I don't think). James Brown stocks them though:-

Maybe look here too:- http://stores.ebay.co.uk/memory1945 (I think this is Gavin Militaria, one of the better Chinese suppliers - correct me if I'm wrong!)

Insignia is more of a problem - get that wrong and the effect is ruined! Try the E-stand here - I've picked up some great copies. Original boards can look better if the budget will stretch. RZM copy bands look better than the copy Bevo bands out there in my opinion (except the copy Bevo bands that have been sold as originals since at least the mid 1990's according to what Stephen Wolfe told me in 1996...)

Good luck, it can be a fun project putting it together. I have gone to Jan Macnicol for my tailor work/ ageing in the past - he's based in the UK and can be contacted via e-mail:- jan.macnicol@tesco.net

        Regards, Paul

PS - Try looking around in this section for examples of a lot of this stuff to get some more ideas?

Bill Bureau out of New England is also a supplier for Janke. He is one of the best individuals to deal with. I'd suggest emailing him. Here is his website (it's never updated, but you can get his email there).
