Ok guys, this is a strange request, but I don't know where else to turn. In the early 1990's a company called Brigade Quartermaster stocked the highest quality reproduction German Camo items I have ever seen. The camo patterns were dead on, the weight of the parkas and HBT was fantastic and the workmanship was second to none. Buttonholes were correct corded key-hole, I mean these things were outstanding. I bought one of the splinter parkas, but they also made Oak Leaf (A I think) parkas and the 44 Dot HBT unoforms. The tag was extremely simply, only stating the price, ID of the item and made in England.
I am in the market for an SS parka, and would love to find one of these for sale. Since I think finding one is a long shot, what is everyone's opinion of who makes the most authentic Camo parka available today? I'm looking for authenticity!
I'd also like to know who you think makes the best Marsh (or tan and water if you will) smock.
Thanks,
-Patrick
