Hmm I always thought the US won the most medals at the 36 games, it looks like Germany really took control. This is something our media fails to mention when they thump their chests over Jesse Owens.

I agree but would like to comment that I believe this impression was more alluded to a cultural victory and upset on the same hand. That was the impact precipitated by the power and influence of the media that probably overshawdows the true number crunch won by the supermen.
