    I didnt understand the sentence about being forced to return to Germany from Italy upon finding out the protection order was reversed...

      Not only did I NOT understand that statement as you posted, (being ordered back to Germany)but the whole article.Some thing has to have been lost in translation. IMO, and this is my opinion, this whole letter discovered seems like a case of wishful thinking on the part of the Jewesh scholars finding this so called Letter of Protection from Himmler, via direct orders of der fuhrer!

      This opinion based only on article read today...

      There has to be more somewhere, just does not make sense.
