Hey guys,
I've been reading and looking at different reproduction panzer wraps from different sources. I always liked the cut and the style of them. I came across the leather panzer style wrap that was supposedly worn, or issued to, the Kriegsmarine.
Here's a picture of what appears to be an original.

I've seen an original, or a good fake at a gunshow once and it was more of a worn dark brown color. It looked better than glossy jet black.
My question is: I've found a few people who make reproductions of these. They don't look like the greatest leather, or they look too new, and they're all a very unappealing glossy black color. Has anyone purchased one of these reproductions? Can anyone speak for their quality or does anyone have pictures? I'd love to pick one up some day but for the price I want to be sure that they're good. I can always buy a wool one. I just wanted the leather for some open-jeep fall days.
Thanks!
Zack
