Opening in 2014 at the former "Braune Haus" . . .

On 9 March 2012, Mayor Christian Ude, Minister of Education Dr. Ludwig Spaenle and Minister of State for Culture and Media, Bernd Neumann will lay the foundation stone for the new "Nazi documentation center" in Munich.

The site of the Nazi documentation center is the site of the former "Braune Haus (Brown House)" - the party headquarters of the NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers' Party - Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei - otherwise known as the Nazi Party) - situated on Briennerstraße next to Königsplatz. The new documentation center will open 2014.

I think due to empty pockets they just have to build it as cheap as possible and that is how it looks like - poverty of state is becoming a major part of political culture.

God I hate modern art and architecture; it's all hideous to me. Give me some good 'ol fashioned Neoclassical columns any day.
