In the movie" Fall of Berlin", quite interested to see a mock up of the Mosaic Hall.

Mosaic hall has excellent wall and floor finishes laid out in a stylish pattern.

After the war, Russian used the wall marble claddings in the Masaic Hall to clad the East Germany subway station.

I dont know if the set of the movie is a "build look alike "or simply a especial effect/camera trick using the original color photos of the building and live action...like they did in the TV miniseries "Inside The Third Reich" in the inaguration scenes, the Hitler office in this production was built as a set/actual prop. You can also see another built prop room of inside the chancellery in the early part of the movie "Battle of Britain", in here they did the rotunda room which led to the mosaic hall...not shown in the movie....infact they use the rotunda room as the entrance to Hitler office....wich is miles and miles wrong...in that scene you can also see a prop chair of the ones with the eagle on the back,like the ones in the cabinet room at the chancellery.

In the HBO movie "The Bunker" there is a quite nice and pretty accurate built set of the Honor Curtyard entrance and a section of the corridor/hall where the Hitler formal office entrace was,not compleatly perfect in the marble color but very,very nice in the other details.

As a small trivia/side note....do you know in what other NOT historical movie the Hitler office/chancellery prop set was used?......the slap-stick comedy TOP SECRET....not joking!!!
