m35 help!!

I bought this helmet at a goood price, the shell is original.
I'm not sure about the apple green color,as I have never seen one in person.
It is very olivee in color.
Is this the correct color or should I repaint it?

If you are planning on wearing it to a reenactment, as most reenactments are post-June 1944 themed, you might consider a camo job or a reproduction camo cover.

Yes I was going to wear it for reenacting.But my unit wanted to do early war (1941) as if entering Operation Barbarossa.I was also thinking a reissued M35 DD scheme (brush painted). But still if you could tell me if the color is to olive or is this correct factory paint?

To me the color looks at little too olive green, not apple green. But I doubt that it would be turned away at a reenactment.

I just smear dirt on it for camo.

I don't recommend the site, the liner was terrible and the chin strap was vinyl. the shell is original .I was told it was painted with militaria 1944 paint(a lie) also there where 2 weld spots in the top of the helmet.This was not told to me when I bought it. I should have sent it back ... but it's mine now. So reenacting it will go,
