    Any been to Wormhoudt? If so do you have any pictures of the town please?

        No but the same day at "Le Paradis" too.

        Site of the massacre committed by members of the 14th Company, SS Division Totenkopf on 27 May 1940 where 97 soldiers of the 2nd Battalion Royal Norfolk Regiment were executed.

                        Yes Nick, been quite a few times since 1992, normally on my way back from other trips as it isn`t far off the Dunkirk to Lille motorway.

                        I have an interest in the LAH and in particular Jochen Peiper who was involved nearby assaulting the Wattenburg crossing the Aa canal at Watten.

                        The BBC did a programme about the Wormhoudt incident some time back and interviewed a couple of the survivors who had served with the Royal Warwicks.
