    Photoshoot Domein Raversijde (BE)

Some time ago we organised a photoshoot at the splendid museum at Domein Raversijde. We were present as Marineartillerie.
We represented two Marineartilleristen from the 6./MAA 204, the soldiers who manned the Batterie Saltzwedel-Neu.

We took pictures with the guns, the trenches, life inside the bunkers, etc... None of this was possible without the cooperation from the museumstaff.
Therefore, Special thanks to the Provincial Domein Raversijde and the Province of West-Vlaanderen!

Here is a small selection from this shoot. Hope you enjoy!

watch out one helmet chinstrap far too loose. gas can strap too on same man in early pics over collar-clumsy. nice set great uniform-heed to tiny details. great effort.

Very nice I wish we had opportunities like that where I reenact. It would be a great spot for a 352nd impression too!

              thank you!

We had a good time there, and we got to go to some spots where the normal visitors normally don't come (the 4m EM for example)...

We really had a blast. And for me, it was really cool, since Marineartillerie has been a pet project for me for a number of years.

the uniforms we used were reproduction, no one makes these, so we altered M40 Feldblusen to resemble the Marineartillerie Feldbluse.

                    Nice pictures !!

Visited this museum 3 years ago with my wife, baby and boy (3yrs) and spend a good 3 hours walking through the brick trenches and underground tunnels. At the end my boy didn't want to leave and my wife finally understood my passing about WW2.

I'll see if I can find any pics if the topicstarter wouldn't mind.

I can only recommend this museum to you !!

Nice photos, i always say that we should have more ww2 museums like this in Norway. here it is just 98% concrete skeletons left after the war.
