Now that is a pitty, I wonder it French authorities would allow that to happen in Verdun, I just wonder why all the WWII bunkers are in such a poor state of conservation, maybe because they are German made they dont want to preserve that history?

                    ????????

I'll never figure out the facsination PUNKS have with scribbling on walls, let alone historic sites. I wish the ghosts of WWII soldiers from both sides would strangle them in their sleep.

I hope it's water based paint. Haven,t these deadbeats got anything better to do.
Time to beak out the 42's and mow them down. Great Bunkers.

I really wish this didnt happen to these beautifl bunkers! I bet that with a little TLC they would make great living history museums! I wish that one day that could happen.

As the former cheif editor of 'Das Stern' magazine announced in Germany, just as the Hitler Diaries were going for publication when already knowing they had been discredited..........."Swastika's sell!"....

Surely the French authorities in this case can see that there is a great deal of interest in these bunkers and fortifications? Cleaning them up and making visitor centres out of them, explaining exactly what happenend around these places will provide both education and help preserve modern history.

Whether the French autorities appreciate it or not, there is a massive interest in this features, other than those armed with apray cans.

                              Just my 2p.

                              Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.
