                    Poland, that explains it, safety isn't a hot item there in the reenacting community

                    Worst I've done was run towards a moving sherman tank with a burning fuel canister to use it as a giant molotov cocktail

                        I was going to say that but you beat me too it. Eastern Europe. Only a guess but in real combat I would think someone would have dropped the tank commander if he stood on the turet longer then a few seconds.

                          It was to much realistic and in final it was not a joke - one guy from tanks was seriously wounded and spent long time in hospital

                              We had a fat cigar chewing American in his M8 Armored Car stick the muzzle inside a building we were held up in and let go with his acetylene powered cannon ...The concussion was so vicious i vomited.....It was too fricken real....
