Then each tank with dead soldiers inside should have been left untouched as well, right?

If you are so upset you should go to court and threaten these guys - and finally will see if that´s just your opinion or if they really do something illegal.

I´d have a lot of fun going with these adventurers on their ship and document the whole event - quite thrilling.
      Come on Chum
Finding a tank or a downed plane deep in the woods is different. Ok, say they dig up a tank rip it apart take the gun and grab awards off the crew then ditch it back in the bog, knowing who the crew are. How would you feel then?
Would that be classed as fun?

Would this company go after the wreck if there was one million on board. No, it 'd cost more than that...sooo its all about money and greed.
Another problem is the Brit government. There are all a bunch of play doh figures. A woman polly gave em the go ahead, we all know females don't give a rats bottom about W2. They probably took her to dinner and paid for a manicure and new hair do.

I,d tell em to come back in 500yrs if they still need more silver.

What men are driven by is not only greed, if at all.

The male version of the human being is naturally a hunter but cannot fulfill that duty anymore like in the old days - so hunting lost reasure ships is one solution while hunting lost historical military items is another one.

I wish these guys all the best for their hunt and although they surely know what they are doing there is always a big portion of (financial) risk left.

Let the hunters make the kill - not the people sittin´ round the fire!

I am not sure about deep salt water but in the Great Lakes the deeper it is with freshwater the bodies, at least the torso actually are preserved. There was a deep dive site in Lake Superior with a body preserved in it I believe from the 1920s and it was "cool" to have a dive shop picture with the dead man and the divers arms around his neck. It was a heliox but some A-holes with low self-esteem found it rewarding. Sick as it sounds very real.

              Sure they do.

What is sooo bad about trying to earn money?

Everybody does it and most individuals just have to - if one can combine it with enthusiasm and passion it is even better.

Don´t get it why people are upset about it.

Oh - it´s all about moral issues...yeah, right:

If people would have always been so morally strong most of our collectibles would never have made it onto the assembly line and finally in today´s collector´s hand.

Perhaps we should dive the bismark the hood or perhaps the Arizona just think how much money you could make selling items from these wrecks.don't think so do you can't argue that one both would be for financial gain but normal human beings wouldn't do it it's called respect which when money is involved goes out the window

If I am not mistaken some guys indeed lifted the big bronze national eagle from the Bismarck up some time ago - whether it was sold in an auction or inofficially I do not know.
